The good stuff

What really sold me was how fast it showed me broken links. I had one campaign with a dead URL buried in a long-form blog post. ClickMeter flagged it instantly with a red warning. The not-so-good

It’s not exactly a full-blown analytics suite. If you want deep funnel tracking or custom event logging, this isn’t it. Also, the free version is… bare bones. You get basic click data, but no advanced reporting or team sharing. And honestly, the interface feels a little dated. Not bad, just not modern. It’s not built for design nerds or pixel-pushing marketers. If you’re running a big agency with complex workflows, you’ll probably outgrow it fast. Also, no idea who made it or how reliable they are. Developer info is nowhere. That’s a tiny red flag for me.

If you’re managing a few web apps or campaigns and just need to track where your links are going, ClickMeter for Web Apps is worth the download. It’s free, it works, and it doesn’t overcomplicate things. I’d recommend it to small teams, solopreneurs, or anyone tired of flying blind with their links. Just don’t expect anything fancy. It does one thing well - and that’s enough for most people.
