The good stuff

The early access was the biggest win. I got to build my team in Madden before the rest of the world even knew what the new draft system looked like. And those MUT and CUT bonuses - 4,600 points each - really help when you’re trying to unlock elite players fast. I used the extra points to grab a couple of high-tier QBs in MUT before the season kicked off. Also, the exclusive Elite Player and Hall of Fame items are solid. The cover athlete gear looks sharp in-game, and the Road to Glory Skill Points made leveling up way faster. The Fresh Faces and All Hands packs from College Football gave me some decent recruits right off the bat - no waiting.

The not-so-good

And yeah, the price is still a hard pill. If you’re only playing one of the two games, or you don’t care about Ultimate Team at all, this is overkill. I’m not sure how many people actually use Franchise Coach Ability Points or Performance boosts regularly - they feel more like busywork than game-changers. Also, since it’s a digital-only bundle, there’s no physical extras. No cardboard box, no stickers, nothing to hold onto. Just files. It’s fine, but kind of cold compared to past editions. And let’s be honest - if you’re not planning to spend time in the online modes, you’re better off waiting for a sale.

Bottom line

If you’re a hardcore EA SPORTS™ fan who wants to dive into both college and pro football at launch, with extra tools to boost your progress, the EA SPORTS™ MVP Bundle for Ps5 is worth the cash. But if you’re casual, or just want one game, skip it and wait. This isn’t for everyone - it’s for the guys who already have their head in the gridiron grind.
