The not-so-good

Here’s the catch: older charging stations don’t work with this app. There’s a list in the app info showing which ones are outdated, but it’s kind of a bummer if you're used to plugging into one of those legacy spots. Also, it only works in South Korea. No international support. If you’re driving through Japan or China, you’re out of luck. And the UI? Functional, but not pretty. It’s like an old-school utility app - gets the job done, but doesn’t wow you. If you want something more polished, you might prefer Macito, though it’s not free.

Bottom line

If you’re driving an electric car in South Korea and have a newer charger, HomeCharge APK for Android is a legit tool. It’s simple, it works, and it’s free. Skip it if you’re outside Korea or using older chargers. But if you’re in the country and need a reliable way to charge without fumbling with cards or apps, this one’s worth downloading.
