The good stuff

The interface is dead simple. Launch it, click “Countries,” and boom-you’re guessing where things are. I liked how there’s no timer, so you can take your time, and you can skip if you’re stuck. I tried the “World” mode once and got tripped up by Togo and Eswatini, which made me double-check a map later. Also, the fact that it includes Swiss cantons and updated the Congo flag shows they’ve put in some real effort. It’s not flashy, but it feels like something you’d use in a classroom, which is exactly what it is. The only thing I didn’t expect was how satisfying it felt to get 10 in a row right-kinda addictive in a low-key way.

The not-so-good

It’s kind of limited if you’re not in the US. The trial version only lets you play Europe, which is weird since the full version has all the content. I guess that’s how they push people to keep using it, but it’s a bit of a head-scratcher. Also, no sound cues or feedback beyond the green checkmark. It’s fine, but after a few rounds, it starts to feel a little flat. And yeah, the developer’s unknown-no website, no support info. If something breaks, you’re on your own. Not a dealbreaker, but worth noting if you’re paranoid about sketchy downloads.
