The attention to detail in the environments is real. Walking through the reconstructed Berghof and Kehlsteinhaus (Eagle’s Nest) feels like stepping into a history book. There’s a weight to the place-cracked walls, cold stone, the silence between gunfire. And the rogue-lite twist? It works. Every mission has procedurally generated objectives and enemy spawns, so no two runs are the same. I died three times trying to reach a hidden bunker, but each time felt like I was learning something new. The secret areas are well-hidden too-some require solving simple environmental puzzles or timing your movement around patrols. It rewards patience, not just reflexes.

The not-so-good

But man, the AI is a mess. Enemies either don’t react to noise at all or charge straight at me like they’re on a timer. I’ve had NPCs walk through walls or just stand there staring at nothing while I shot them from ten meters away. It makes gunplay feel too easy, which undermines the tension the game tries so hard to build. Also, the base game’s performance issues carry over here-frame drops during heavy combat, long load times between missions. Graphics aren’t bad, but they’re not great either. You can tell it’s not a top-tier title. If you’re running this on PS5, it’ll work, but don’t expect buttery smoothness. And if you’re on a lower-end system, brace yourself.
