Then it zips back to the other end. The timing between attacks is real, so you can’t spam. It forces coordination, even when playing solo. I once got into a rhythm where my partner and I were bouncing attacks back and forth like a high-speed tennis match against a wave of enemies. It’s ridiculous, but satisfying. And the weapons? So many choices. I spent 30 minutes just trying out different combos-sauce-based fire spells, electric swords, poison darts-and found one build that actually worked. Not every combo survives past the first wave, but that’s part of the fun.

The not-so-good

Yeah, it’s only local co-op. No online multiplayer, which is a bummer if you’re trying to play with friends across town. Also, the story’s super minimal-wake up, magic vine, fight monsters, save the garden. It’s not bad, just… there. And the difficulty spikes fast. I died to a single enemy swarm because I wasn’t ready for how fast things move. It’s not unfair, but it does expect you to learn fast. If you’re someone who hates getting hit too often, this might not be your thing. And yeah, the dev is unknown. That’s not a red flag per se, but it means no future updates or DLC unless they show up outta nowhere.
