The good stuff

The way the operators’ abilities sync up is really satisfying. I played as Mira with her drone detection and saw how much easier it was when someone else was covering flank spots. There’s a real sense of weight to each decision - do we push through the toxic zone or wait? Do we risk a breach or play it safe? And the XP boosters in the Deluxe Edition help you unlock new gear faster, which is nice when you’re grinding for cosmetics. Also, the three cosmetic bundles aren’t just fluff - they let you personalize your operator without feeling like you’re paying extra for a skin. One bundle even gave me a cool helmet design that made me feel like a proper soldier.

The not-so-good

It’s not for everyone. If you hate talking to strangers in games, you’ll probably get frustrated. The learning curve is real - especially early on when you’re trying to manage ammo, medkits, and gas masks all at once. And yeah, it’s multiplayer only, so no single-player mode unless you’re fine with bots. The game can also be punishing if your team isn’t synced. I’ve died more times than I’d like because someone decided to charge in loud and fast while I was trying to scout. Also, the visuals are solid but not groundbreaking - nothing that’ll blow your mind on a 4K TV, but it runs smoothly.

And if you're already deep into the Rainbow Six universe, this is an easy add-on. Skip it if you’re looking for a solo experience or hate group coordination. But if you’re down to work together, it’s a blast.
